Trials of Totec is a light based puzzle game set of the fantasy world of T'allalo, where the Player must restores colour after an experiment by the Creator of T'allalo, Totec went horribly wrong, and absorbed all the colour out of the world. Now its up to YOU, with the help of GLOW, Totecs friend and the only remaining Light on T'alallo to journey to Totec's study at the centre of the planet, solving his puzzles along the way, to restore the colour and save the world!

Trials of Totec, or ToT for short, is the finished product after a semester of work by the Diagonal Beekeepers Team of the 2021 Major Production unit at AIE. It was the first time myself and the team had produced a game from Concept to Alpha to Gold. The brief given was to create a light based puzzle game, we then came up with Trials of Totec. A game where the player will use a beam of light to solve a series of puzzles placing and rotating mirrors to guide the light from start to finish. The game uses a shader that makes the world grey scale apart from a specific area within the Light that is coloured, and by completing the puzzles the Player restores the colour to the grey scaled world.

This was the first game I was ever involved in making. It was produced during 2nd Semester of my first year at AIE (2020). Bob The Blob is a 3D Third Person Platformer, where the Player must use a double jump and dash ability to solve puzzles, finish obstacle courses and defeat enemies. The game is targeted at a younger audience, who maybe experiencing their first video game or 3D Platformer.

The World we created was full of soft rounded shapes, with a bright neon 80's inspired colour palette, which was juxtaposed against the enemies, who were made of sharp edged polygons.

I intend on developing this game further once I have completed my study. This would include:
- Updating the Narrative
- More Levels
- Add new mechanics and Update existing ones
- New Enemies
- Bosses
